We are a self-funding charity that stands up for Suffolk communities that love their heritage and landscape.
We support community groups, individuals, parish councils and amenity societies, working together for the benefit of our county. We are passionate about sustaining the beauty and distinctive character of Suffolk, its landscape, historic buildings, towns and villages – for now and for future generations. Our professional Planners work through the planning system to protect our existing built and natural heritage and to deliver new development which creates sustainable and well designed communities.
SPS represents CPRE, the countryside charity, in Suffolk, campaigning for the countryside at a national level. We also form part of the AONB Partnership working together for the benefit of the county’s two Areas and Outstanding Natural Beauty
