Fiona Cairns: Director
BA(Hons) DipTP DipBldgCons(RICS) MRTPI IHBC

Fiona joined SPS in 2012 having spent over 20 years working in local government as a conservation planner. She has worked in a variety of urban and rural planning authorities, from Westminster City Council to Monmouthshire County Council. She has also worked as a listing inspector for Cadw, Welsh Historic Monuments on the accelerated resurvey of the statutory list of buildings of architectural and historic interest. Before joining SPS she was a freelance heritage consultant.

Bethany Philbedge: Planning Officer
BSc(Hons) MSc Town Planning MRTPI

Bethany joined the team as a planner in 2013. She had previously volunteered for SPS following completion of her Masters in Town Planning in which she focused on her main interests of heritage and community planning. She worked as a Parish Clerk for a number of years for a Suffolk parish, giving her a useful insight into grassroots planning and community issues.

Elizabeth Clement: Volunteer

Elizabeth is a volunteer who has managed many of the fundraising events for the Society in the past and provides proof reading services to the Editor of Suffolk View. She is an Australian but has been resident here for many years. Before moving to Suffolk she worked as a physiotherapist in London.
