East Suffolk historic environment supplementary planning document

SPS has responded to a scoping consultation to replace existing heritage documents from across the Suffolk Coastal and Waveney districts. We called for the document to: encourage early engagement between the developer and local authority; cover both designated and non designated heritage assets as well as boundary treatments, historic landscapes and the setting of heritage assets. We also urged that reference is made to public realm works within conservation areas which can impact their character if carried out insensitively.
