Tom Foakes: Director

Originally an art historian and curator, Tom has fulfilled executive leadership positions in museums, galleries and historic houses. He has led multi-million pound publicly funded capital projects involving listed buildings, and has grown membership and supporter schemes through the development of diverse programming. He has a particular interest in building public engagement with heritage, and how to develop more resilient and sustainable organisations. Tom lives in a listed Tudor house in one of Suffolk’s historic wool villages, which he is very slowly restoring.

Penny oversees all elements of daily operations, and is the lead in the support of our member scheme and associated events. Penny is a Suffolk native and is a great advocate for the countryside.

Luna: Office Dog

Luna has a background in long walks, sleeping, and getting over-excited with visitors. She can be relied upon to give the impression that she has never been fed whenever food is present. Luna is usually found distracting her colleagues or asleep on the office floor.
