On Friday evening, Suffolk Preservation Society members, staff and trustees gathered in the warm summer sunshine for a garden party in the charming Little Hall gardens at Lavenham.

Everyone welcomed the opportunity to meet up, ask questions, reminisce on past achievements, and discuss forthcoming projects and priorities in such beautiful surroundings.

With drinks and canapes in hand, surrounded by the heady perfume of roses and honeysuckle, we heard short presentations from our President Geoffrey Probert and Chairman Robert Townshend. They highlighted the achievements of the charity over the last twelve months and reminded us of the many challenges facing our countryside and built environment.

Finally, thanks were offered to all those who give their time and support to the important work of the charity.

The evening included a short AGM to cover necessary business.
