Our autumn edition leads by investigating our disappearing apple orchards. We review the disease resistant Elms that we planted as part of the SPS’s 90th anniversary 5 years ago and follow up on their progress. We take a look at the phenomenon of Suffolk’s pink buildings and ask: is it real or simply fiction? We also present the second part of the study of Suffolk’s Almshouses and share the nostalgic reminiscences of life at Abbey Farm, Flixton during WW2.
